About the Role: Cheeca Lodge & Spa, an idyllic luxury resort in Islamorada, is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our spa team. This role is not only about providing therapeutic bodywork sessions but also about enhancing the overall wellness and satisfaction of our guests. Our therapists are key in delivering a serene and rejuvenating spa experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, Myofascial, Stone, Pre/Post Natal, and Body Treatments, maintaining the highest standards of service.
• Uphold a commitment to ethical, professional behavior and guest confidentiality.
• Provide guests with home care product recommendations to extend their wellness experience.
• Ensure guest comfort and satisfaction throughout treatments, following Cheeca Lodge & Spa’s treatment protocols.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Desk staff for smooth scheduling and billing processes.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and anticipate changes or updates.
• Participate in ongoing education and training for new treatments and modalities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area.
• Conduct thorough guest consultations to meet and exceed expectations.
• Encourage relaxation and minimize conversation during treatments to enhance guest experience.
• Provide post-treatment care advice and retail product recommendations.
• Stay informed of state and local regulations for massage therapists and maintain a valid massage license.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a current and valid state license for massage therapy.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• [Preferred] Previous experience in a spa or hospitality industry and multilingual abilities.
