SummaryResponsible for scheduling and oversight for all disciplines: nursing and therapy. The Team Assistant assists in entering approved time off and patient Emergency Management Plans into scheduling package book. Enters and verifies vital patient information into billing system, and maintains CPR card, Drivers license and Auto Insurance information in team member files. Reviews admission packets for completeness, assists Patient Care Supervisor in productivity oversight, and works all report as indicated in standard work.
Adds disciplines as instructed by supervisor, approves all disciplines, including visit type, enters skills for each clinician in staff management area of scheduling package, monitors utilization, productivity of contract and enters assignment of and updates for case manager for each patient. Assists with daily routine paperwork and clerical duties necessary for the smooth day to day function of the unit.
