Ultrasound Technologist (Gen & Vasc)

Location: Middleburg, FL

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift (20:00 – 06:30) | Sun–Wed (4x10s)

Seeking a highly independent and dual-certified Ultrasound Technologist for a long-term night assignment. This role is critical for the facility’s overnight operations, as you will be the sole provider responsible for all ultrasound imaging. You must be technically proficient enough to manage the ER and inpatient volume without onsite peer support, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for a variety of acute conditions.

• Solo Overnight Scanning: Independently manage the ultrasound workflow for the entire hospital during the 10-hour night shift.
• Comprehensive Imaging: Perform a wide range of studies including:
  • General: Abdominal, small parts, and non-vascular emergent scans.
  • OB/GYN: Transabdominal and transvaginal scans, including ectopic pregnancy rule-outs.
  • Vascular: DVT studies, carotid duplex, and arterial assessments (must be certified).
• Emergency Support: Prioritize and execute STAT orders from the Emergency Department, providing critical data for stroke and trauma protocols.
• Quality Control: Ensure all images meet diagnostic standards before transmission to the radiologist; troubleshoot equipment as needed.

• Certification: Active ARDMS in both General and Vascular is strictly required.
• Experience: Significant experience in a hospital/acute care setting is necessary due to the solo nature of the shift.
• Holiday Commitment: Must be available to work during the Easter holiday.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; fixed Sunday through Wednesday schedule. Every weekend requirement.
