Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Full-Time | Outpatient | Middleburg, FL

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in our outpatient clinic, you will provide meaningful, play-based therapy while supporting children and families in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
Our clinicians primarily serve children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, global developmental delay, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, and sensory-motor challenges. As a PTA, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help children build strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and independence through evidence-based, child-centered care that supports developmental milestones.
Your Role- Implement individualized pediatric treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy focused on gross motor development, balance, coordination, strength, and mobility
- Use play-based, engaging interventions to promote participation and progress
Document treatment sessions accurately in Raintree EMR - Communicate effectively with supervising PT regarding patient progress and plan adjustments
- Partner with families and caregivers to promote carryover and consistency at home
Contribute to a culture of clinical learning and peer support - Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
- Passion for working with children with developmental and neurological needs
