Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

Radiology Technologist – full‑time, Florida‑licensed position in the Radiology Department at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. Responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographs and fluoroscopic images, documenting patient information, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

• Acquire high‑quality diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including surgical, portable, trauma, general, and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Use proper technical factors and techniques to accommodate patients and administer contrast media as needed.
• Prepare, transfer, and position patients, ensuring modesty and safe use of auxiliary equipment.
• Document all pertinent clinical information before the exam, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields in MEDITECH accurately and on time.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and the radiology team, including the radiologist.
• Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases by keeping the room stocked with linens and supplies.

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (2‑year program).
• Valid ARRT certification.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT required to start; temporary license not accepted).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Training completed in a hospital‑based program.
• Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting patients or equipment up to 100 lbs.
