Job Summary
Radiology Technologist – full‑time, Florida‑licensed position in the Radiology Department at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. Responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographs and fluoroscopic images, documenting patient information, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
Responsibilities- Acquire high‑quality diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including surgical, portable, trauma, general, and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Use proper technical factors and techniques to accommodate patients and administer contrast media as needed.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients, ensuring modesty and safe use of auxiliary equipment.
- Document all pertinent clinical information before the exam, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields in MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and the radiology team, including the radiologist.
- Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases by keeping the room stocked with linens and supplies.
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (2‑year program).
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT required to start; temporary license not accepted).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Training completed in a hospital‑based program.
- Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting patients or equipment up to 100 lbs.
