Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers, Laundry Aides and Floor Tech to join our team. These roles are essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors in our skilled nursing facility.

Schedule:

Monday through Sunday

Shifts:

Day and Evening Shifts

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Follow infection control and safety procedures (OSHA & CDC guidelines)
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry (linens, towels, resident clothing)
• Distribute clean laundry to appropriate areas
• Dispose of trash and biohazard materials properly
• Maintain cleaning supplies and report low inventory
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and spills
• Ensure residents’ rooms remain neat and organized
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment
• Perform floor care duties including buffing, scrubbing and polishing floors

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, and floor tech experience preferred (healthcare or nursing home setting a plus)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, pull, and push carts throughout shift
• Knowledge of infection control practices preferred
• Must pass background check per Florida regulations
