A part-time Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is available in Riverview, FL, for a busy retail and mail-order pharmacy handling 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily. This 13-week assignment offers flexible shifts during the first shift, with options to accommodate day or mid-shift availability. The pharmacy utilizes DRx software for prescription processing.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage inbound communication with patients and healthcare providers regarding medications.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards as the Pharmacist in Charge.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Pharmacist licenses in both Florida and California.
• Minimum of one year of experience practicing as a pharmacist.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and medical personnel.
• Familiarity with retail and mail-order pharmacy operations preferred.
