Job Summary:

Coordinates and executes Epic electronic health records (EHR) and associated third party information system training. Responsible for communicating and enforcing training policies and procedures effectively. Completes the role analysis process to ensure staff members’ and health care providers’ training needs are identified and met. Helps IT/Application Training Mgr administer Epic-led virtual training sessions. Participates in other operational readiness activities. Ensures training materials remain up-to-date and relevant for end users to accomplish their jobs effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems (IS), applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, health care, or a related field.

• Five (5) years of relevant, job-related work experience

• Experience in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of healthcare, clinical, and operational workflows.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to deliver engaging, effective training sessions to diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to meet training objectives.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Ability to motivate and inspire trainees.
• Ability to document and update.

• Related Epic certification(s) required. Multiple certifications may be required depending on areas of job responsibilities.
• Required certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days from the last class completion.
• If a required certification is not obtained after three (3) examination attempts, the incumbent has a period of thirty (30) days after the last examination attempt to apply for other job opportunities within the organization.
