Clinical Care Coordinator - Medical Assistant - FPG Urology at Venice

The Clinical Care Coordinator I demonstrates the competency to provide patient care according to the age-specific population needs and assist in the management of patient care in the physician office setting under the direct supervision of a provider.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcare Association (NHA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); or
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT); or
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) by the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); or
• Certified EMT.
• For experienced medical assistants with one to two years experience and certification from other agencies or no certification, must register with an accepted agency for MA Certification and schedule a test within six months of hire. Certification must be received and presented within twelve months of hire.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty days of hire/transfer date.

• One year of clinical experience in an outpatient physician’s office practice.
• Experience with electronic practice management and electronic health record programs.
• Ability to demonstrate self-direction and initiative.
• Knowledge of electronic practice management and electronic health records software along with skill in Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

• High School Diploma, GED or Certificate.
• A copy or photo of your High School Diploma or GED, or transcripts showing date of completion/graduation, is required prior to start (collected during onboarding).
