Medical Assistant

Medical Assistants play a vital role in both clinical and administrative duties, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and office staff. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self motivated, caring, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.

• Record patient histories, vital signs, and update electronic health records (EHR).
• Assist providers during exams, procedures, and minor in-office treatments.
• Create lab/radiology orders
• Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms and medical equipment.
• Administer injections, collect specimens, and perform basic lab tests (per training and certification).
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide instructions for care and follow-up.
• Handle patient phone calls, prescription refill requests, and medical record requests.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures.
• Support other administrative and clinical tasks as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• Previous experience in a medical office (Required)
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EMR)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinic.
