This role involves providing speech, language, and swallowing therapy to outpatient patients at South Florida Baptist Hospital, a 204‑bed facility part of Bay Care. The therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients, maintain accurate medical records, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, educate patients and caregivers, and contribute to the rehabilitation program.

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide speech therapy sessions in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA and clinic standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other team members for coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapy goals and strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall development of the rehabilitation program.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology.

• CCC‑SLP (Speech Language Pathology) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Speech Therapy License
• Master’s degree in Speech Therapy required
• Doctorate in Speech Therapy preferred
• 1 year clinical experience preferred
