This position is a 13‑week travel nursing assignment in the Emergency Department of a 39‑bed facility in Tallahassee, FL. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:4 and is staffed by a unit secretary and 2–3 technicians. The RN will work nightly 12‑hour shifts, typically 3 × per week.

Key responsibilities include patient rounding, bedside shift reporting, and clinical documentation using the designated electronic health record. Advanced procedures performed include chest tube insertion, moderate sedation, lumbar puncture, laceration repair, and blood product administration.

Key equipment includes crash carts, Level One, Alaris pumps, and bedside cardiac monitors. The dress code is black scrubs. The unit values compassion, kindness, honesty, integrity, teamwork, loyalty, respect, and dignity.

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and pharmacology.
• Advanced nursing skills, including intubation and lifesaving procedures.
• Ability to perform advanced procedures such as chest tube insertion, moderate sedation, lumbar puncture, laceration repair, and blood product administration.
• Commitment to multi‑tasking and throughput‑focused teamwork.
• Availability for night shifts, 4 days × 12 hours.
