WORKING TITLE
CLINICAL CONTRACT MONITOR (PHARMACY)
OVERVIEWThis competitive career service position is located at Region 2 Pharmacy in Raiford, FL. The role serves as a specialized clinical and regulatory leader, overseeing pharmaceutical compliance, monitoring contract adherence, and guiding healthcare vendors to ensure safe, high‑quality pharmacy services across the system.
JOB DUTIES- Regulatory Expertise: Manage compliance with key Florida statutes and administrative codes governing pharmaceutical services.
- Pharmacy Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare detailed reports using the Pharmacy Monitoring Tool to ensure service quality and contract adherence.
- Clinical Pharmaceutical Consultation: Provide expert clinical guidance to Regional Health Services Monitoring Staff and act as a Clinical Monitor across a privatized healthcare system.
- Consultant Pharmacist Role: Potentially serve as the Consultant Pharmacist of Record for institutional pharmacy permits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Vendor Support & Training: Lead training and support initiatives for medical and pharmacy vendors to optimize pharmacy service delivery.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, practices, standards, and techniques.
- Knowledge of Chapters 465 F.S., 456 F.S., 120 F.S., 893 F.S., and 64B‑16 F.A.C.
- Knowledge of Florida Department of Corrections Health Services HSB’s, procedures, and protocols.
- Knowledge of drug properties and usage, including drug interactions.
- Knowledge of methods of compiling, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to evaluate pharmacy methods, procedures, and services.
- Ability to evaluate pharmaceutical care delivery systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret pharmaceutical data.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to develop various reports.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

- Must possess an active/unrestricted Florida Consultant Pharmacist License.
