This full‑time Sonographer, or Ultrasound Technologist, will provide ultrasound procedures to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients following established standards and practices under the direction of the Radiologist(s). • Possess the appropriate knowledge of anatomy, physiology and disease processes relating to the areas of ultrasound performed
• Apply appropriate measurements relating to the study ordered and accurately measure and calculate regions of interest based on protocol
• Obtain and record all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure ordered including pregnancy, allergies, lab results, correlative exam results, reason for study and patient specific symptoms or complaints
• Assure all required documentation, forms, charges and patient's medical record are complete
• Timely update all required fields within the Radiology MEDITECH module accurately and without reminders

• Vocational/Technical School education
• ARDMS certification in departmental practice areas (OB/GYN, Abdominal, Small Parts, Vascular)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One to three years of ultrasound experience
