As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Aviata at Brentwood, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role providing exceptional care to our residents, delivering personalized support and assistance with daily living activities in a family/team environment.
Responsibilities- Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
- Aiding in daily tasks such as phone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
- Performing light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Providing medication reminders
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and status
- Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
- Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean-up
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Performing other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Florida CNA license
- Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
