Residential Services Assistant (RSA) – Job Overview

Residential Services Assistants at Lakeside Neurologic provide direct care and supervision of clients residing at the facility.

• Treat the clients with respect and dignity.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the clients.
• Implement behavior plans and protocols.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Engage in programming or recreational activities with clients.
• Report medical emergencies or medical symptoms.
• Implement protocols and safety techniques.
• Data Entry.
• Change of shift report and communication.
• Accompany clients on medical transports and recreational outings.

Team members must be twenty-one years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. The following are preferred but not required:

• Previous experience in healthcare, mental health or behavioral health
• C.N.A. Licensure is preferred.
• Associate Degree is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
• American Sign Language is preferred but not required.

• B Shift 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. – $1.00 per hour shift differential on Saturday & Sunday.
• C Shift 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. – $1.00 per hour shift differential Sunday – Saturday.
• Weekend Shift – Sunday & Saturday – 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. – $1.00 per hour shift Differential for this shift.
