Th St - Responsibilities:
Implements treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist; and through consideration of practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.;
Provides patient and family education, including home exercise programs for treatment carryover into the discharge setting.;
Conducts age-appropriate assessments and interventions, completing annual age-specific competencies relevant to the scope of care.;
Acts as a clinical instructor and provides mentorship to students and new staff, fostering a supportive and educational environment.;
Documents interventions and patient progress accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology in line with standards of practice, insurance guidelines, and department/hospital policies and procedures.
