Location: De Leon Springs
SOBE Innovative Rehab is an outpatient therapy at-home provider seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to deliver high-quality therapy services in De Leon Springs, FL. Our team focuses on geriatric patients, promoting proactive, preventative approaches to achieve successful aging-in-place.
Responsibilities- Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner.
- Provide skilled intervention to improve patient functional independence.
- Communicate with families, physicians, and other health‑care team members.
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation of services in the medical record.
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OTA).
- Two years of clinical experience in a related field (preferred).
- Actively licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Lymphedema Certified-CLT a plus but not required.
* PRN*
PRN is short for pro re nata (“as needed”). PRN therapists are part of an on‑call pool and provide care on a per‑diem basis. They can accept or decline cases based on their availability. PRN work offers flexibility and can provide higher rates of pay, though it lacks benefits such as paid time off and health insurance.
