About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Aide and Medication Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to residents, support their daily living needs, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. A passion for senior and dementia care is essential, as you will be making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications, take vital signs, and perform routine medical tests.
- Assist residents with daily living needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and social activities to reduce loneliness and promote emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs.
- Provide dementia care, including behavior management and emotional support.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard‑free environment.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident care.
- Assist with administrative duties, including documentation and medical records management.
- Safely lift and transfer residents.
Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (Required). Medication Technician experience: 1 year (Preferred). Experience in assisted living, retirement homes, or similar healthcare settings. Prior experience with dementia care, senior care, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
