Job Summary And Qualifications

Paramedics respond to emergency calls, provide advanced life support, and ensure patient stability during transport. They assess patients, administer treatments, and direct EMTs while maintaining ambulances and ensuring compliance with protocols.

• Patient assessment and treatment.
• Transport and communication with healthcare providers.
• Equipment and supply management.
• Compliance and protocol adherence.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Current Paramedic license in Florida.
• Ability to perform invasive procedures under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of human growth and development and appropriate patient care.
• Experience with critical care transport (if applicable).
• Associate’s degree preferred.
