Phlebotomist-Rover-Part-time

Job Overview

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The role includes providing outstanding customer service, performing specimen collections, and acting as the face of the company during clinical interactions.

Work Schedule:

20 hours weekly, Monday to Sunday 5am to 10am, with 2 days off per week;
Saturdays and Sundays may rotate bi‑weekly.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other assays.
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Deliver superior customer service to all patients.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months of phlebotomy experience.

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

• Phlebotomy certification or training must be from an accredited agency.
• Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• PSTs may be eligible to participate in the PST incentive plan (quarterly bonus based on performance metrics).

• Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan.
• Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, or temporary employees are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) plan.
• Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
