The position requires independent judgment and collaboration across program sections to reduce the impact of opioid-related harm, monitor trends, conduct investigations, and coordinate response efforts with other state and local health departments.

This is an in-office role based in Tallahassee.### Key qualifications
* Master's degree in Public Health, Biology, Microbiology, Epidemiology or closely related field with 10 years of epidemiology, data analysis and reporting experience
* High proficiency with statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, Epi Info, ArcGIS) and ability to manage large datasets
* Extensive knowledge of public health surveillance principles and epidemiological methods
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in fast-paced environments
