Part time Phlebotomist- Windmere

Job Overview

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The position requires 25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., with rotating weekends.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly in the data system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Phlebotomy certification or six months or more of phlebotomy experience.

• In lieu of work experience, must possess a phlebotomy certification or have completed a training program from an accredited agency.
• Must be able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Must demonstrate exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Part‑time and seasonal employees (PSTs) may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which provides a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
