Job Overview
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The position requires 25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., with rotating weekends.
Job Responsibilities- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes.
- Enter patient information accurately and promptly in the data system.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification or six months or more of phlebotomy experience.
- In lieu of work experience, must possess a phlebotomy certification or have completed a training program from an accredited agency.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
- Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
- Must demonstrate exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Part‑time and seasonal employees (PSTs) may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which provides a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

- Employees scheduled to work fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
