Clinical Dietitian position at Moffitt Cancer Center – Tampa, FL.

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus applies to eligible candidates.

• The Clinical Dietitian assesses, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the standards of nutrition therapy and with interdisciplinary collaboration focused on the needs of the patient.
• In addition to providing care to patients in need of inpatient and/or outpatient services, there are opportunities to contribute to presentations, publications, supervision of students/interns, and execution of departmental education efforts which will contribute to advancement in the Clinical Ladder.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• At least 1 year of clinical experience
• Master’s degree in nutrition

• Complete assessments and reassessment of assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and practice including selecting assessment tools, tests and measures, goal setting, etc.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and coordination of care.
• Participate in education in-services, presentations, etc., as needed.
• Accurately perform documentation on each evaluation and treatment session within the electronic medical record and accurately documents billing charges.

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition
• Current Registration with CDR or RD Eligible with successful registration within 6 months of hire date.
• Temporary Florida licensure is required if not currently licensed in the state of Florida.
• BLS Certification
• One year of clinical experience is preferred. Clinical experience in an acute care hospital during Dietitian externships will be accepted.
