Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders;
Administer and record dosages - as well Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photograph

Demonstrate competency in the following:
Biliary, Brain Spect, Bone Scan, Cardiac, Cisternogram, Colonic Bleed, Prostascint, Gallium, Gastric Emptying, GI Bleed, Indium Scan, Liver, MIBG, Oct - reoscan
Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (ME - DITECH)
Assist with transporting patients as

Current/Active Florida Department of Health license (CRT)
Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist - preferred Current registry: NMTCB or ARRT (N)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) cert - ification Knowledge of GAMM A cameras
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up
Compassionate patient care and technical proficiency in nuclear medicine
Preferred SkillsExperience with computerized documentation systems and a strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals.
