The Sarasota Orchestra is looking for a Section Bass for the 2026-27 season. This is a per-service position with a guaranteed minimum of 65 services. The per-service rate for this position is $187.49. The audition will take place on September 16, 2026, and will be conducted in one day with all rounds occurring on the same day. Employment is set to begin in October 2026, and the season will last for 36 weeks.
Candidates must ensure they have the proper authorization to work in the United States. Auditions will be held at the Beatrice Friedman Symphony Center, located at 709 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL. Candidates should note that no electronic devices are allowed in the audition room.
