Phlebotomist – Patient Service Center / Client Office

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide superb customer service, perform skilled specimen collection, and represent the company. The position is based in Jacksonville, FL.

Work Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 6:30am–12:00pm with Saturday 7:00am–12:00pm. Full‑time employees are scheduled for 20 or more hours per week.

Location:

1121 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred).
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if required.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
