Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Placid, FL. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain independence and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess patients' physical and mental abilities to create personalized therapy plans
- Develop and implement creative and effective therapy strategies to improve mobility, strength, and cognitive function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct daily therapy sessions, documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for continued recovery and wellness
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
- 0+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with physical disabilities
- Strong observation and assessment skills with attention to detail
