Registered Dietitian – Clinical Research

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive baseline nutrition assessments consistent with study protocols.
• Provide individualized nutrition counseling and lifestyle coaching during scheduled onsite and Telehealth study visits.
• Deliver evidence-based education related to GLP-1 medications, weight management strategies, calorie intake and macronutrient balance, protein and hydration needs, sustainable behavior change, and physical activity recommendations.
• Review participant food logs, weight trends, and other study-related data prior to visits.
• Accurately document all participant encounters according to study requirements.
• Collaborate with the clinical research team to ensure protocol compliance.
• Maintain participant confidentiality and adhere to all study documentation and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Active Florida dietitian license (required).
• Experience in weight management, GLP-1 therapy, obesity medicine, or lifestyle counseling preferred.
• Previous clinical research experience is a plus but not required.

Demonstrates expertise in conducting nutrition assessments and providing individualized counseling, with a strong focus on GLP-1 medications, weight management, and sustainable behavior change. Maintains compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements while ensuring participant confidentiality.
