Radiology Technologist Role Overview
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform complex diagnostic exams, coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical parameters, utilize radiation safety devices, maintain equipment, and process imaging results. Your responsibilities include proofreading and mailing exam results, ensuring high-quality imaging within appropriate time frames, and attending staff development programs. You will also maintain a safe working environment by reporting equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications & Skills- ARRT certification and current state license.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
- Proficiency with radiological equipment and performing specialized exams.
- Dedication to patient care and safety.
- Attention to detail and technical expertise.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
