Compensation:
- CRT: $24.63 to $34.48/hr
- RRT: $27.09 to $37.92/hr
- Shift Differentials: $4.50/night, $3.00/weekend
- Sign-On Bonus: $10K FT Days (1 yr experience, 2-yr commitment), $20K FT Nights (1 yr experience, 2-yr commitment)

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is a 290-bed acute care hospital and a Level II Trauma Center located in Hudson, FL. The hospital is home to the nationally acclaimed Heart Institute and offers a comprehensive cardiac and open-heart program. Known for innovation and quality care, the hospital employs over 350 physicians and 1,300 colleagues.
The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) evaluates and manages patients respiratory needs, including the operation of acute care ventilators and delivery of routine and complex respiratory therapies across all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Apply and operate acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation
- Develop and implement respiratory care plans for patients
- Administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures
- Maintain accurate department and hospital records in the electronic system
- Function independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader
- Assist with patient care across age groups in acute care settings
- Completion of Vocational/Technical program or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree);
Bachelors degree preferred - Current Florida State License (CRT) required; RRT preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire
- Ability to perform frequent physical activity (standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving)
- Work at a leading Level II Trauma Center with a renowned Heart Institute
