The Agency for Health Care Administration seeks a Government Operations Consultant III to serve as a comprehensive contract manager for the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care (SMMC) program within the Bureau of Medicaid Plan Management Operations. The role involves analyzing, developing, implementing, and monitoring contracted medical assistance and long-term care services, requiring knowledge of Florida Medicaid programs, federal regulations, and state statutes.
This is not a remote position and requires a creative, flexible individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- One year of Medicaid Plan Contract Management experience
- One year of experience working in managed care or health care operations
- Knowledge of federal and state managed care requirements
- Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and make recommendations
- Knowledge of state procurement laws and contract management policies
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
