How you'll make a difference:
- Evaluate & assess:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments to identify individual student needs. - Targeted intervention:
Design and deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to diverse learning styles. - Team collaboration:
Partner closely with educators, specialists, and parents to integrate communication goals into the classroom. - Progress tracking:
Monitor, document, and celebrate student growth, adapting strategies to ensure continuous improvement. - IEP leadership:
Active participation in IEP meetings to advocate for tailored educational plans and accommodations.
What you bring:
- Education:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. - Licensure:
Valid State License in Speech-Language Pathology (or active eligibility); CCC-SLP preferred (CFYs welcome to apply). - Experience:
Prior experience in a pediatric or school setting is a strong plus. - Mindset:
Exceptional interpersonal skills, an adaptable approach, and a true passion for student advocacy.
