Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - South Pasadena, Florida
Join our team at Gulfport Nursing Center, a 118-bed skilled nursing facility located in beautiful Pasadena near the beaches!
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a PTA at Gulfport Nursing Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Responsibilities:- Assist physical therapists in the treatment of patients with a wide range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Implement treatment plans as directed by physical therapists, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to physical therapists
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Completed associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current Florida licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience as a PTA (new graduates welcome!)
