Position Summary:We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Group Facilitator to lead educational, psycho educational, and support groups for clients in our behavioral health/substance use disorder programs. This is a per-dem position with a flexible schedule-perfect for professionals seeking supplemental income or varied hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate mental health and substance use disorder groups using evidence-based practices
- Lead psycho educational and coping skills sessions tailored to client needs
- Accurately document group content and attendance in client records
- Communicate pertinent client information to the clinical team
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards and confidentially laws
- Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment
- Skilled in group dynamics, documentation, and trauma-informed care
- Dependable, professional, and culturally competent
- Ability to work a flexible, per diem schedule
- Preferred: Experience in a residential or outpatient rehab setting Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
- LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or any registered intern
