As an SLPA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement individualized treatment plans that help children develop communication, language, social, and feeding skills. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.Conduct engaging, play-based therapy sessions to address communication, articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication, fluency, and feeding goals as directed.

Collect objective data regarding client performance and accurately document treatment sessions in a timely manner.

Assist the supervising SLP with treatment preparation, therapy materials, and implementation of intervention strategies.

Reinforce caregiver education and home practice activities as directed by the supervising SLP.Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), physicians, schools, and other professionals involved in each child's care.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid requirements, company policies, and all applicable federal and state regulations.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Maintain productivity and documentation standards established by the organization.

Promote a positive, collaborative, and family-centered approach to care.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.

Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in good standing.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Commitment to providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based pediatric care.

Preferred Qualifications Pediatric speech-language therapy experience.

Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Experience implementing AAC programs and supporting feeding therapy under SLP supervision is preferred.

Knowledge of Medicaid documentation requirements.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout the clinic while providing therapy services.

Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and actively engage with pediatric clients throughout the workday.

Ability to safely lift or assist children weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
