You will be working onsite at a state-of-the-art hospital equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.
  • Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting improvements and challenges while providing regular updates to supervising therapists.
  • Instruct patients on correct techniques for exercises and daily living activities, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort, ensuring a supportive environment throughout all rehabilitation sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care for improved outcomes.
  • Uphold compliance with all HIPAA regulations, hospital policies, and licensing standards to safeguard patient confidentiality and care quality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist Assistant will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, trauma, stroke, and various chronic conditions. You will play a significant role in helping patients of all ages, from young adults to seniors, navigate their recovery journeys and regain functional mobility, strength, and confidence.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is a must.
  • Possession of a valid Florida PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, treatment techniques, and rehabilitation equipment.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills that facilitate effective patient care and teamwork.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach combined with a team-oriented mindset is crucial for success in this role.
Preferred Experience
  • Two or more years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
