Swift Therapy Center is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. This position is onsite at our outpatient office, where you will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality therapy services. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, allowing for advanced treatment methods. You will enjoy a defined Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance while engaging actively in patient care.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and devise targeted treatment plans.
• Implementing treatment protocols based on assessments while adapting to individual patient needs and preferences.
• Documenting patient care activities promptly and accurately, including evaluations, treatment plans, interim progress summaries, and discharge reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Engaging in collaborative discussions with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Participating actively in team meetings to discuss clinical best practices and contribute towards improving service delivery.
• Complying with corporate mandates and local, state, and federal regulations in all aspects of practice.
• Conducting discharge planning and follow-up care to facilitate smooth transitions back to daily activities or additional service needs.

The orthopedic patient population at Swift Therapy Center includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. As a vital member of our team, you will work with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your compassionate approach will ensure that you not only treat injuries but also empower patients to regain confidence in their mobility and daily activities.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• A current CPR certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety.

Ideal candidates will bring a background in implementing innovative treatment modalities and will have experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management of patient documentation. Additional certifications in specialized rehabilitation techniques will be advantageous.
