Therapist – Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services to diverse patient populations, including adults, pediatrics, and neonates, ensuring optimal respiratory health and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments, including breathing treatments and ventilator management, to patients across various units.
• Manage all ventilators and perform all EKGs as required.
• Collect and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) and monitor patient vital signs.
• Maintain and clean all respiratory equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist with intubations if experienced and capable, supporting emergent airway management.
• Document all procedures and patient data accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

• Hold necessary respiratory therapy credentials such as RRT certification.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience, including recent travel assignments.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to evolving patient needs.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC CPSI and Thrive EMR systems.
• Be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours.
• Have at least one year of travel therapy experience preferred.
