Florida State University’s College of Medicine has been awarded more than $19 million through the Rural Health Transformation Program to strengthen healthcare access and outcomes in rural Florida. The funding will support six new projects focused on critical needs including behavioral health, preventive care, food insecurity, telehealth, at-home care and healthcare workforce development. Through partnerships with communities and healthcare organizations across Northwest and Southwest Florida, FSU is working to bring innovative, practical solutions directly to rural communities and help close longstanding gaps in care
Responsibilities- Support administrative functions of day-to-day Rural Health Transformation Program activities across participating counties and partner organizations.
- Assist with maintenance of project workplans, implementation timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support alignment of activities with contractual requirements, funding agency expectations, and program objectives.
- Facilitate communication among project leadership, implementation teams, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders.
- Apply university, sponsor, state, and federal policies and procedures to support compliance with programmatic and funding requirements.
- Support Program Manager and leadership to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare organizations, community-based organizations, public health partners, local government leaders, and regional stakeholders.
- Support advisory committee meetings, learning collaboratives, and stakeholder engagement activities including scheduling and coordinating meeting materials. Facilitate communication among participating organizations to support collaboration and information sharing.
- Track implementation and performance measures across project activities. Support Program Manager and Data Manager with data maintenance.
- Coordinate quality improvement activities with participating healthcare and community partners. Support implementation of performance improvement plans and corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor project expenditures and maintain budget tracking documentation. Coordinate administrative processes related to contracts, subawards, consultants, and vendor agreements.
- Track utilization of project resources and documentation required for funding compliance. Provide budget and resource information to program leadership to support forecasting and planning activities.
- Coordinate collection and compilation of information for progress reports to funding agencies and stakeholders. Assist with development of presentations, summaries, program reports, and other communication materials. Support dissemination of project outcomes, implementation activities, and lessons learned through meetings, conferences, and stakeholder forums.
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (
Note:
post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.) - Reliable transportation, and a valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
