American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring RDMS, RVT certification and 2+ years of hospital ultrasound experience.

• Ultrasound department with 4 scanners and 4 tables
• 4 techs per shift on both day and night shifts, each working 12-hour shifts
• Equipment includes GE 1.5T Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT machines
• Fri-Sun schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Heavy call requirement

• Current BLS certification required
• RDMS and RVT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Must be able to work independently

• Operate ultrasound equipment utilizing sound waves to create diagnostic images of internal body structures
• Create and interpret images of bones, organs, and tissues to support accurate diagnostic assessments
• Ideal candidate is a critical thinker who is flexible and adaptable
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights
• Gray scrubs required for Ultrasound Techs
• Located at a 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics, and Women's Services
• Facility is a recognized teaching hospital
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
