Regulatory Specialist III

This Regulatory Specialist III position with the Florida Department of Health's Board of Nursing serves as a Team Lead coordinating board meeting agendas, maintaining quality control, and managing workflow within the Division of Medical Quality Assurance. The role involves preparing bi-monthly board agendas, reviewing disciplinary and licensure materials, notifying respondents and attorneys of hearing dates, processing travel authorizations for board members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines.

The incumbent works independently and as part of a team while demonstrating the agency's core values of innovation, collaboration, accountability, responsiveness, and excellence.

• Ability to compile, organize and analyze data
• Ability to understand and apply Florida Statutes, rules, policies and procedures for licensing and regulation
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish working relationships
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities
• Must be physically present in Tallahassee office five days per week
