Receptionist

Job Summary:

As a Receptionist at Balanced Healthcare, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and facilitating a seamless experience throughout their healthcare journey. Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a warm and welcoming manner, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage daily receptions, including answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, appointments, and test results
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and medical information
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care, incorporating cultural sensitivity and empathy in all interactions
About the Role:

As a Receptionist at Balanced Healthcare, you will be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. With a focus on providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our patients' lives.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Must be willing to work Monday - Friday 4pm-8pm.
