Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
  • Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces meet the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Manage the housekeeping budget, including labor costs, inventory of cleaning supplies, and amenities.
  • Oversee ordering, stocking, and usage of housekeeping supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Develop and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and the front desk, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards and address any issues.
  • Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the housekeeping team.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members.
