Overview

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Front Desk/Guest Services Associate to support guest services at our Art Ovation Hotel in Sarasota, Florida. The role focuses on delivering superior guest experiences, handling check-ins/outs, processing payments, and maintaining accurate daily reports.

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
