Position SummaryThe Resort Grounds Ambassador serves as an on-site hospitality specialist, guiding guests throughout their stay and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. This role collaborates closely with multiple departments to provide seamless service and maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and check in guests efficiently and professionally, using their names whenever possible.
- Confirm reservation details and assign appropriate accommodations.
- Process payments accurately in compliance with credit card and accounting policies.
- Review reservation notes and special requests to ensure personalized service.
- Check out guests and settle folios promptly and correctly.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests—whether in person, by phone, or via email—with professionalism and urgency.
- Provide information about resort amenities, activities, and local attractions.
- Utilize various computer systems for daily operations.
- Communicate with internal teams via radio, email, and Microsoft Teams.
- Conduct personalized tours and pre-arrival inspections to meet brand standards.
- Apply service recovery techniques confidently when needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
- Friendly, professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work rotating shifts as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Calm under pressure and knowledgeable about emergency procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to operate golf carts and motor vehicles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous front desk or guest services experience in a luxury setting.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
