Summary

The Front Desk Agent at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is the first point of contact for guests and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional arrival and departure experience. This position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing a large number of daily check-ins and check-outs while maintaining a warm, professional, and efficient demeanor. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, excels at multitasking, and is passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival with a welcoming and professional attitude, creating a positive first impression
  • Efficiently manage high-volume check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and speed
  • Verify reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys in accordance with resort standards
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Process payments, post charges, and maintain accurate guest accounts
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, dining options, activities, and local attractions to assist guests
  • Resolve guest issues with a service-first mindset, escalating when appropriate
  • Adhere to all cash handling, safety, and security procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times
Qualifications
  • Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in a high-volume resort or hotel environment strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
  • Frequent walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work continuously in a busy lobby environment with high guest traffic
  • Strong manual dexterity for handling keys, credit card machines, and computer systems
  • Ability to hear and communicate clearly in a high-noise, fast-paced setting
  • Fast-paced, high-volume resort setting with frequent guest interaction
  • Requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • High guest expectations requiring professionalism, responsiveness, and problem-solving skills
