Missions

The uniqueness of The Vineta Hotel requires a Bell / Door Person to greet and welcome our guests at the main entrance of the hotel, assisting them with their luggage, providing directions, and answering questions about the hotel and surrounding area, creating a personalized and unparalleled arrival and departure experience for our guests.

Profile
  • Greet guests upon arrival, opening doors and offering a warm welcome and assistance with luggage and transportation arrangements, creating an unsurpassed experience for our guests.
  • Park vehicles for guests and other visitors who require valet parking, maintain the front driveway congestion-free through traffic control, monitoring illegal parking, and immediately store vehicles.
  • Safely and efficiently transport guest luggage to and from their rooms, ensuring items are managed with care.
  • Offer guests information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Answer inquiries and provide recommendations as needed in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Assist with delivering items such as room service orders, packages, or other guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Collaborate with front desk hoteliers and other departments to ensure a seamless guest service.
  • Build rapport with guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay.
  • Efficiently manage time to prioritize tasks and ensure timely service to our guests.
  • Ensure the lobby and main entrance are clean and always organized. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous work experience in a similar capacity within the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Full-Time Position
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid Florida driver's license required. Ability to operate standard and automatic transmission.
  • Fluent in English; other languages considered an asset.
  • Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions during shift.
  • Must be able to reach, stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, balancing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and transporting various objects weighing up to 75 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
  • Guest-centric approach and skilled in managing the flow of guests and luggage during arrivals and departures.
  • Genuinely warm presence, friendly, sincere, and outgoing nature, leading by positive example to strive for service excellence and warm hospitality.
  • Ability to apply conflict resolution and critical thinking skills in a collaborative environment.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time of application. Visa sponsorship is not available for the position.
