Room Attendant - Housekeeping

Housekeeper at Cheeca Lodge & Spa

Northwood Hospitality LLC, operating Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, FL, is looking for experienced and dedicated Housekeepers to maintain our beautiful suites. Help us provide a clean and comfortable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean Rooms:
  Clean and organize 1-room and 1-bedroom suites, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Restock Supplies:
  Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock room supplies.
• Trash Removal:
  Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Guest Requests:
  Provide housekeeping items and additional supplies quickly and courteously. Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly.
• Secure Rooms:
  Follow proper procedures for entering guest rooms and ensure the security of guest room access and hotel property.
• Chemical Use:
  Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations.
• Furniture and Fixtures:
  Inspect and clean all furniture, lamps, light fixtures, switches, and other fixtures. Report damages to the supervisor.
• Surface Cleaning:
  Remove dust, spots, and smudges from all surfaces, including A/C units and vents.
• Balcony/Patio:
  Clean balconies or patios, remove trash and debris.
• Status Updates:
  Update the status of cleaned rooms on the assignment sheet and via phone.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  
  Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items.
• Team Player:
  Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
• Professionalism:
  Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment for guests.
