Government Operations Consultant III OPS

The Florida Department of Children and Families seeks a Government Operations Consultant III to serve as a Technical Advisor within the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Program's Business Operations unit in Tallahassee. The role oversees recruitment activities, serves as HR liaison, provides guidance on HR policies and compliance, and monitors all human resources processes including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and separations.

This independent position requires coordination across program sections and demands proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and collaboration with leadership and HR teams.

• Bachelor's degree preferred with four years of Human Resources or personnel-related experience; master's degree can substitute for one year of required experience
• Knowledge of data collection, analysis methods, and basic management principles
• Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop recommendations and solve problems
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish working relationships
• Two years of experience using Microsoft Office applications
